A K.I.S.S. For The New Year

A K.I.S.S. For The New Year

Keep it Simple

Happy New Year Friends!

I sat down yesterday to reflect on 2013:

What I’m proud of.

What I want to leave behind.

What I want out of 2014

BTW…It’s a good idea for you to do this exercise, too.

Anyway, I was tempted to overthink it. Tempted to write myself a laundry list of things I’m going to do, should do, or think I have to do. I decided to simplify my approach and instead come from a place of…What will make me happy in 2014?

And so, dear friends, my one and only tip for you when planning for and setting goals for the New Year: K.I.S.S. – Keep It Short and Simple.

Life is really simple. But we insist onmaking it complicated. – Confucius

Looking to change your diet + eat healthier?

Choose recipes with simple, natural ingredients that are easy to prepare. If you like the way they taste and they make you feel good, you will want to make them and eat them again and again.

Looking to exercise more?

Find something you enjoy that you can do in under an hour. You don’t need a lot of equipment or time to reap the benefits of moving your body.

Want to feel more calm + balanced in your life?

Remember that the point of life is to enjoy yourself. Create time to do things that bring you joy. You’ll be surprised at the ripple effect this will have on other areas of your life like career, finances, relationships.

Happiness is good for your health!

All good things in 2014.

Shannon
